In Sioux City, we expect it to be partly cloudy with a high of 82 and a low of 56 on Saturday. On Sunday, expect it to be mostly cloudy with a high of 72 and a low of 55.
The Iowa Great Lakes will have some cloudy weather both days this weekend, with highs around 70 and lows around 50.
In school, we have been learning about tornadoes and thunderstorms.
In Iowa, thunderstorms occur often in the spring and fall months, when the temperatures are high during the day but drop at night. Severe thunderstorms can sometimes lead into tornadoes if they are strong enough and windy enough.
