Charley and Edie Harper were a husband-and-wife artistic duo based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Charley gained national fame for his creative re-imaginings of the natural world, while Edie specialized in prints that featured well-known scenes from the Bible. One of their instructors from art school, the influential Bauhaus artist Josef Albers, is also represented in the exhibition by an original print from his "Homage to the Square" series.
