The Sioux City Community Theatre Youth Theatre Program is excited to announce auditions for Disney's The Lion King Jr.!
We are casting students in 5th–12th grade and invite performers of all experience levels to audition. Whether you've been on stage for years or this is your very first audition, we'd love to meet you!
What to Prepare
Prepare a song of your choice to sing (approximately 30–60 seconds) - you may use a phone speaker to sing along with! Please no a capella.
Participants will also read from the script in small groups during auditions.
Show Dates: October 8th-11th, 2026.
No previous theatre experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to have fun!
Join us as we bring the Pride Lands to life and tell the beloved story of courage, friendship, and finding your place in the Circle of Life. We can't wait to see all of the talented young performers who will help make this production roar!
