Nebraska State senators on Monday will have the ability to tour the McCook Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center, following a senator’s complaint.

Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen announced that people detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement are expected to begin arriving at the former McCook Work Ethic Camp sometime this week.

A federal judge has ordered the release of a man in the country without legal status who was detained in northwest Iowa.
