South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg is outpacing the other Democratic Presidential candidates in Iowa, according to a  new Monmouth Poll out today.

Buttigieg garnered 22% support, former Vice President Joe Biden (19%) and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (18%). Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders also made gains from Monmouth's August poll, but with 13%, fell outside of the top three status in Iowa.

Buttigieg is up 14 percentage points since August, according to a new Monmouth Poll of likely caucus-goers.

Because their support falls within the margin of error, there is no clear leader in the Iowa poll, with Buttigieg, Warren, and Biden making up the top tier of candidates.

The World Food Prize Foundation is introducing a new president.  Barbara Stinson is just the second president since Nobel Prize winner Norman Borlaug established the foundation in 1986.

Stinson replaces longtime president Ken Quinn.  She is the co-founder and senior partner in the Meridian Institute, which works to bring groups together to address major global challenges. Stinson says the environment is one of her main concerns.

"Global climate change is one of the foremost issues of our time. The impacts of agriculture on climate change and climate emissions is critical and must be addressed.”

Stinson has spent the last ten years largely focused on the issues of food security and food safety. She was spurred by a trip to Uganda, where she saw the problems families faced in producing food. She begins at the World Food Prize Foundation on January 4th
