Dr. Rod Earleywine

Long-time school administrator Dr. Rod Earleywine believes it's okay if leaders "don't have all the answers." He also shares intimate details of his life that shaped his outlook on leadership and life in his conversation with Siouxland Public Media's Sheila Brummer on July 20, 2022.

About Dr. Rod Earleywine

After graduating from Drake University in 1982, he worked as a teacher and coach. Toward the end of his 12-year tenure with the West Sioux School District in Hawarden, Iowa, he pursued higher degrees in educational administration with a master’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a doctorate from the University of South Dakota. He reached a personal goal of serving as a middle school principal for the River Valley School District in Correctionville, Iowa.
