Democratic governor nominee Rob Sand is marking a third consecutive week with campaign events in Northwest Iowa.
Sand spoke back on July 2 to several dozen people in a Monona County town hall at the Onawa Public Library in Onawa. Last week, he spoke over two days at Spirit Lake, Sibley, Rock Rapids, Le Mars and Sioux Center.
On Thursday, July 16, Sand will bring his 100 town halls tour to Estherville at 11:15 a.m., to Cherokee at 3 p.m. and Sioux City at 6 p.m at the Sioux City Distilling Company
Sand is currently the Iowa state auditor, and Zach Lahn is his Republican opponent. Recent polls have shown a tightly competitive race.
