Briar Cliff University announced Friday it is partnering with TEL Education to provide homeschool students with affordable college courses.

The On-Demand program offers accredited courses for $100 per credit hour, half the cost of other options for online courses. Each course fee includes all necessary materials, including textbooks.

The collaboration allows homeschool families to incorporate college preparatory coursework into their high school curriculum in an accessible and affordable way.

In a press release, Dr. Matthew Draud, President of Briar Cliff University, said, “This partnership creates an affordable pathway for homeschool students to earn college credits while still in high school, expanding accessibility to higher education.”

Students may register for up to four courses per semester, allowing them to get a head start on earning college credits.
