You are invited to attend Siouxland Public Media’s City Council Candidate Forum at noon on November 1st at the Sioux City Public Museum.
Sioux City resident Julie Schoenherr is seeking her second four-year term on the council. She is a businesswoman who owned and operated SoHo American Kitchen & Bar.
Her challenger Tom Murphy is a lifelong Sioux City resident who was the city's chief building inspector before retiring. Murphy garnered the second-highest number of votes in the October 10 primary election.
The candidates will answer questions from Siouxland Public Media News and also take questions from the public. The forum will be broadcast live on KWIT 90.3 and KOJI 90.7 FM and online at kwit.org.
