New Sioux City music festival books 30 bands

Whatever Fest

EDM. Indie jam. Rock ‘n’ beats. Hip hop. Punk. Pop. And metal. There’s a new music festival in Sioux City this weekend. And it’s like… Whatever.

At least 30 local and touring bands—covering a variety of genres—are scheduled to perform in one-hour time slots from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. this Saturday and Sunday at the Ickey Nickel Bar & Grill for the first-ever Whatever Fest, the brainchild of Libby Lucken.
