The Iowa Great Lakes will have highs in the single digits and lows around -7.
Recently, in class we have been learning about ice storms. They can cause a large amount of damage and cause around 150,000 accidents each year. With cold weather and precipitation, it can cause power lines to freeze, snap, and turn off. Make sure to have extra food, flashlights, bottled water, and warm clothes ready if you lose power.
