First, we hear from a South Dakota lawmaker who is advancing a bill to create an Indian Child Advisory Council to focus on Native American children and their over-representation in the foster care system.
We talk with Representative Tamara St. John of Sisseton, who is an enrolled member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribe.
