The Woodbury County Auditor’s Office has announced key timeline details about the upcoming November 3 election, including options for early in-person voting.
Woodbury County voters can cast in-person ballots at five locations, including at three Sioux City colleges.
The early options with the most days are at the auditor’s office in the Woodbury County Courthouse and also at the Long Lines Family Rec Center in downtown Sioux City, from October 14 to November 2. There will also be extra days to vote at those sites on the Saturdays in late October.
For the colleges, early voting will be at Briar Cliff University on October 19, at Western Iowa Tech Community College on October 20 and 21, and at Morningside University on October 22. Early voting will also take place on October 26 at Shepherd of Peace Church in Sergeant Bluff.
There are two timelines ahead on October 19, as the last day to pre-register to vote, and also the Last day to submit an absentee ballot request form to receive a ballot by mail.
The November election has a host of county, state legislature, federal, and statewide contests such as governor in all three Siouxland states.
