Iowa Republican governor nominee Zach Lahn has selected State Representative Derek Wulf as his pick for lieutenant governor.
Wulf is serving his second term in the Iowa House, and is a farmer from Hudson in Black Hawk County.
According to a post on Lahn’s Facebook page, Wulf endorsed Lahn nearly one week before the early June primary election.
Back on Monday, Democratic governor nominee Rob Sand chose Crawford County county supervisor Dave Muhlbauer as the Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor.
The nominees are seeking a four-year governor seat, as Republican Kim Reyolds is not seeking re-election,
