President Donald Trump has endorsed Congressman Randy Feenstra in Iowa’s Republican primary for governor.

In a post on Truth Social on Friday, Trump says Feenstra is “MAGA all the way” and “has delivered strong results for the Hawkeye State.” He added that Feenstra “will never let you down.”

Feenstra says he’s honored and humbled to receive Trump’s endorsement. He says as governor he’d work closely with Trump to implement his agenda in Iowa.

Feenstra is one of five Republicans running for governor in the June 2 primary election. The others are former state agency director Adam Steen, businessman Zach Lahn, state Representative Eddie Andrews, and pastor Brad Sherman.

Steen had campaigned in a few Northwest Iowa locations on Thursday.

The Iowa Democratic Party in a release said it was a case of Trump coming to aid Feenstra’s floundering campaign.
