Morningside University held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday for its newly renovated radiological technology labs.
A ceremony was held on the St. Luke’s College, Morningside University campus during which students demonstrated their skills and the new medical equipment.
The labs feature modern imaging equipment and technology, providing students a hands-on learning environment that reflects healthcare facilities.
In a release, Dr. Jackie Barber, Dean of Nylen School of Nursing and Health Sciences, emphasized the importance of closing the gap between classrooms and medical centers.
The labs and medical devices ensure graduates are able to adapt to changing conditions in the healthcare industry.
