The latest round of campaign finance data for candidates seeking the U.S. Senate seat in Iowa shows Republican Ashley Hinson received the most in campaign contributions in 2025.

The most recent campaign finance reports from the Federal Election Commission show Congresswoman Hinson received nearly $4 million dollars in campaign contributions for 2025.

The next three highest totals were raised by Democratic candidates, with state Sen. Zach Wahls raising just over $2 million, state Rep. Josh Turek bringing in $1.7 million and former Knoxville Chamber of Commerce executive director Nathan Sage had $1.3 million dollars respectively.

Republican former state senator Jim Carlin, of Sioux City, reported contributions of just under $60,000 dollars for the year.

Candidates are competing for an open seat, as Republican U.S. Senator Joni Ernst is not seeking a third term. Primary elections are set for June 2.
