The Cone Park tubing hill and ice skating park will open in Sioux City for the winter on Friday, December 19.
This will be the ninth year for the tubing hill to be available since it first opened in the south Singing Hills area of the city.
Up to 225 people maximum can use the hill for tubing in each three-hour session. Many winter days the hill is a very popular recreational choice.
A city release says tickets can be bought online, by calling or at the parks-related city office, at the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center.
People have to use the tubes provided at Cone Park, they cannot bring their own.
During the warmer months, Cone Park has other options, including mountain bike trails and a biking pump track.
