The Nebraska State College system announced on Thursday it is launching an initiative called Re-engage Nebraska.

Reengage Nebraska is a program designed to help students with some college credit return to higher education and complete a degree. The program offers one-on-one coaching to help returning students identify their educational goals and overcome financial barriers.

In collaboration with InsideTrack, a nonprofit, the project will support reenrollment, persistence, and completion at Wayne State College, Chadron State College, and Peru State College.

During the next 18 months, InsideTrack will partner with Reengage Nebraska to connect with former students who have been away from the institutions for at least a year.

Wayne State College can award an associate’s degree to students who have completed 70 or more credits, providing them a boost in their employment and earning potential.
