The Iowa Board of Regents is meeting Monday and Tuesday as part of the search for the next president of Iowa State University.
According to a memo, the board will evaluate candidates and select finalists for the position. They will also discuss the next steps in the search process.
In May President Wendy Wintersteen announced her plans to retire in January 2026.
Wintersteen has worked at ISU for 46 years and has served as president for the last eight years.
She is the first woman to hold the university’s highest office.
