The Sioux City Council discussed the city manager position in their meeting Monday.
In the meeting, Janelle Bertrand, Human Resources Director for the City, addressed the council’s questions on how to proceed.
Bertrand provided the council options of how they can move forward with their search for the city manager position.
She said the council could revisit candidates that applied previously, or they can reopen the position if there are any other candidates that the recruiter consultant had in mind.
Craig Clark, one of the three finalists for the city manager position, withdrew his application.
