The new leader of the Sioux City Community Schools, Dr. Rod Earleywine, hit the ground running on July 1, 2022. Earleywine spent 27 years in the Sergeant Bluff-Luton School District before recently stepping down. He took over as interim superintendent after Dr. Paul Gausman left for Lincoln Public Schools. Siouxland Public Media’s Sheila Brummer reached out to Earleywine to find out about a few changes for students. They start their conversation by talking about the goals for the next year.
