There are five positions on the Sioux City School Board, and 11 candidates are vying to be selected by voters in the November 7 election. Siouxland Public Media News has spoken with all 11 people and is presenting a series in which the candidates discuss three subject areas.
In the third and final of those subject areas, the candidates addressed topics related to school finances.
Are there enough teachers or counselors in the district, or do you support hiring more teachers and directing more budget money for such personnel costs?
