Jill Biden Visits Siouxland Today and Tomorrow

The Democratic presidential candidates continue to visit Siouxland in advance of the Feb 3rd,  2020 Caucuses.

Today, one of the leading candidate’s wives came to Sioux City.  This morning at the Sioux City Public Library about 50 potential caucus-goers gathered to meet Dr. Jill Biden.  Biden has been traversing the country talking about her husband former Vice President Joe Biden’s qualifications. Biden said her husband would be a commander-in-chief voters could trust.

“A leader who brings people together, not tears families apart. A president that you can feel proud of, who believes our best days are ahead of us. That’s my husband Joe Biden.  And that’s the future I want.”

Some of the attendees like Sioux City’s Skip Hoelker said he likes Biden even though he has not yet made up his mind who to support.

“But he’s at the top of my list. He’s probably who I am going to vote for.  I really believe that he has my values and I believe what he stands for, especially now that we’re getting into that Medicare thing, Medicare for all, and I am not 100 percent sure that is going to work. SO I am hoping he has a good plan.”

Jill Biden also visited with potential voters in Cherokee, Storm Lake.  Tomorrow she will travel to  Emmetsburg, Sheldon, Le Mars, and Onawa.
