Sioux City lags behind neighboring states when it comes to the minimum wage. Nebraska and South Dakota have raised their minimum wage to around nine-dollars. Woodbury County is still abiding by the state minimum wage of seven-dollars and twenty-five cents. However, there is mounting pressure on the board of supervisors to raise it.
