The Wayne State College Festival of Honor Bands concert takes place Saturday, Jan. 24, in Ramsey Theatre in Peterson Fine Arts Hall.

The WSC Department of Music hosts this annual day-long festival for junior high and high school students from Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. Students must audition to participate. This year’s clinicians include Michael Sindt, director of bands for Pierce Public Schools; Emily Jones, instrumental music/band teacher at Nebraska City High School; and Michael Genslinger, WSC assistant director of bands.
