The Cold War

The Cold War

The Cold War conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union, fought not with armies, but agents, grew out of the competition between two clear winners of the second World War. The war ended with a weapon of great destructive power and curbed the idea of real battles when only the United States had access. Join Russ Gifford as he walks us back in time to see the decisions and the results that led to a future of nuclear standoffs, hot wars, and cold calculations that seem unfathomable today.
