Rhoden wins historic runoff South Dakota governor election over Doeden, advances to November general election.

For the first time in its history, South Dakota is holding a runoff election on Tuesday for the governor’s race to determine which GOP candidate will be placed on the November ballot.

In the Le Mars Runoff Election, incumbent Rob Bixenman and City Council candidate Derek Conyers won their respective races for mayor and city council Tuesday evening.
