The Democratic Candidates are cutting a swath through Iowa in the last few days before the Feb. 3rd presidential caucuses.

Tomorrow, former Vice President Joe Biden will hold an event at Western Iowa Tech Community College.  He will appear at the Rocklin Center at 1:15 p.m.  A previous appearance by Biden earlier this month was canceled because of bad weather.

Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar will be in town Thursday.

On Friday morning, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren will hold a rally at Western Iowa Tech and Mayor Pete Buttigieg is planning a town hall on Friday morning at the Orpheum Theater.

Buttigieg is thanking his staffers of color for feeling able to voice their grievances following a news report that said some had expressed frustrations with the campaign. The New York Times reported Tuesday that some Buttigieg staffers had expressed their concerns during campaign diversity meetings last month. Buttigieg has struggled to garner measurable support among African American voters nationally. Campaigning in Iowa on Tuesday, Buttigieg said that every organization has to work harder to ensure "that inclusion is a reality.”

State Sen. Jackie Smith, of Sioux City, today gave her endorsement to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Smith's endorsement was announced by Biden's campaign team, which also announced the endorsements for the former vice president from Reps. Bob Kressig, of Cedar Falls, and Dave Jacoby, of Coralville.

Biden's team said he has the endorsements of more than 200 Iowa political officials, including U.S. Reps. Cindy Axne and  Abby Finkenauer, and former governors Tom Vilsack and Chet Culver.
