This week on The Exchange we discuss the red wave that hit Iowa in Tuesday’s mid-term elections.

I’m Mary Hartnett and I am here with Sheila Brummer. Our guests are former Woodbury County Republican party chair Suzan Stewart and the former leader of the Woodbury County Democratic Party Morningside University History Professor Greg Guelcher.

Governor Kim Reynolds won a second full term in office Tuesday, Senator Chuck Grassley won his eighth term and 4th District Representative easily won re-election as well. Republicans control the Iowa House and Senate and also all of the congressional seats in Iowa. We talk with several candidates and look ahead to what 2024 might look like.
