Just days after Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Economic Development Authority announced a $6 million grant to the producers of the Field of Dreams TV series, the streaming service where it was set to air has dropped the show.

Variety reported Thursday night that Peacock, NBC’s streaming platform, has decided not to move forward with the project. Universal Television, the studio behind the series, is now trying to sell it to other outlets.

So, far Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has not responded to this new development according to WHO Television in Des Moines.

Fourth District Iowa Congressman, Randy Feenstra, held his second annual family picnic fundraiser Thursday.
Radio Iowa reports former South Carolina Governor and U.N. Ambassador, Nikki Haley, spoke at the event. She echoed statements made by Feenstra, saying it is important to win Republican majorities in the House, Senate, and in the 36 governor races across the country.
