Western Iowa Tech Community College’s new president began his role on Monday.
Dr. Terry Lindsay has 32 years of experience in higher education and has held executive leadership roles.
Lindsay’s career encompasses private and public institutions as well as two-and four-year colleges. He has multiple advanced degrees, including a doctorate in educational leadership with a focus in higher education.
According to a release, during his first 100 days Lindsay will focus on listening, learning, and building relationships by connecting and meeting community members.
Lindsay said he believes community colleges transform lives, and he is eager to work with employees and the community to help shape the next generation of leaders.
Lindsay is replacing former president Terry Murrell, who had served in the role for 14 years. Murrell’s last day was in May.
