Residents in Arnolds Park may notice backed up traffic from Monday through Thursday as the city forms walls for the new city complex.
The complex will be the new home for city offices, the library, and police and fire facilities.
Previously, council members said the current building is too small and remodeling wasn’t a suitable option.
The cost of the project is estimated between $11 and $15 million, when its original maximum estimate was at $11 million.
Arnold’s Park City Council was initially going to construct the project in phases but instead decided against it to lessen disruption and expense.
The project is primarily funded through revenue bonds and is expected to be completed by December 2026.
