The Sioux City Human Rights Commission is hosting its 35th annual Faces of Siouxland fair on Sunday.
As a result of budget cuts the commission announced its final festival last year. However, with the support of the Sioux City Council the event was able to continue this year.
Faces of Siouxland celebrates the diverse cultures that make up Sioux City’s community through food, dance, music, and art.
Over 60 vendors and performers will be attending the event, including the White Eagle Club dancers, Soten Taiko drumming group, and Pho Mon Temple dancers.
The event is free to the public and runs from 12 to 4 at the Sioux City Convention Center.
