Three South Dakota-based mental health and healing organizations are consolidating operations to create a single integrated care center.

According to a press release, the merger of the Compass Center, Family Services Inc., and Move to Heal South Dakota creates the region’s first fully integrated healing agency. Solace is the new organization and has been in the works for a little over a year.

Representatives for the company say the organizations already had similar missions and passion for helping individuals recovering from trauma.

Solace will provide crisis care, therapy, healing arts, and community outreach through services including crisis intervention, advocacy services, mental health services, healing arts programs, and prevention education.

Solace Crisis Care offers specialized crisis intervention, crisis counseling, and immediate support for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, and child abuse.

Solace Therapy provides clinical therapy services for children, youth, and families, including comprehensive mental health treatment.

Solace Healing Arts delivers trauma-informed programs utilizing trauma-sensitive yoga, dance movement, and creative expression for youth navigating trauma.

Solace Community Outreach provides prevention, education, and outreach initiatives that include elevating youth voices, providing employee assistance programs, and working with first responders in the community.

Solace serves the Sioux Falls community.
