National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is October 15th. The organization No Foot Too Small has organized events across the state of Iowa to give parents a chance to reflect and join in solidarity.
Katie Kruse of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, is the Sioux City Ambassador for the non-profit. She organized an event planned for Siouxland this weekend. She shares her story that led to taking action for others facing heartbreak. The public is invited to join Katie at others at Miracle Field at Riverside Park on Saturday. Registration starts at 6:30. The event is sponsored by the Iowa SIDS Foundation, the Junior League of Sioux City, and Siouxland Women's Health Care.
