The head of Siouxland District Health tells Siouxland Public Media there are still no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Woodbury County. 

Kevin Grieme says his department is keeping in close contact with state health officials and health providers locally.

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts released new guidelines today when it comes to the coronavirus.

They include limiting public events and gathering to 50 people or less. 

Dozens of Iowa school districts including Sioux City Community Schools are following the governor of Iowa’s guidance and suspending classes for four weeks to try and stop the spread of the virus.

As of Sunday night, Iowa has 22 cases.

Today, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced assistance for employees and businesses impacted by layoffs from COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the Iowa Legislative session has been suspected for 30 days.  It was suppose to end by April 21st.

The Nebraska Legislature has suspended its session.

The decision came as the number of coronavirus cases in Nebraska had climbed to 20.

South Dakota authorities report one new positive test for COVID-19 today, bringing the state's total to 10.

And, the Shrine Circus has been delayed.  It will be rescheduled from April 1st through the 5th to July 29th through August 2nd at the Tyson Events Center.
