Caucus Countdown: 2020 Insight from National Reporters

Jeff Zeleny/CNN

All the eyes of the nation are on the Iowa, including national news organizations.  Three reporters at the top of their careers covered campaign events in Sioux City this week.  The trio work in television, radio and print journalism.  They all talked to Siouxland Public Media's Sheila Brummer about their take on this year's decision and the future of the Iowa Caucuses.

Jeff Zeleny is the Senior White House Correspondent for CNN News.  Jeff’s career started in newspaper and he even won a Pulitzer Prize before working in television.

Siouxland Public Media’s Sheila Brummer first met Jeff when they both worked in Des Moines many years ago.

She ran into him January 26, 2020 while covering Senator Bernie Sanders.  He later talked to Sheila about this year’s contest, past perspective and insight on the future of the Iowa Caucuses.
