Siouxland Public Media’s Sheila Brummer recently visited the Black Hills in South Dakota. Several people suggested she meet with local tour guide Karen Bucholz. Bucholz who is also known by her nickname "Kare Bear" talked about the history of the region's biggest attraction, Mount Rushmore.

Sheila Brummer and Karen Bucholz encountered a couple of bull snakes on the road while exploring the Black Hills and Bear Butte. Here's an audio recording done by Karen. Sheila is extremely scared of snakes and stayed in the vehicle.
