Some members of the Woodbury County Supervisors are encouraging fellow board member Jeremy Taylor after his wife's conviction this week for voter fraud. The board could take up the issue at Tuesday afternoon's meeting.
The Sioux City City Journal also reports that The Woodbury County Democratic Party urged the all-GOP board to "move on from Jeremey Taylor’s serial dramas."
Last week, a federal jury convicted Taylor's wife Kim on 52 counts of voter fraud. Government prosecutors said was her actions were part of a scheme to stuff the ballot box for her husband. Taylor ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination for a U.S. House seat in the 2020 primary. He won election to the board of supervisors that fall.
