On the Thanksgiving week of The Exchange we talked about history and preserving history.

After years of battling declining enrollment and issues with fundraising, Iowa Wesleyan University closed this year. I talk with UI librarian Sarah Keen about the project.

Also, as American and world events shake our culture, we talk with Stony Brook University of New York historian Michael Zweig about the resulting shifts in capitalism and progressive politics. His new book is call Class, Race and Gender: Challenging the Injuries and Divisions of Capitalism.

In this week of Thanksgiving we look back at America's two Georges.
