Meeting a longtime goal of city officials, the
University of Iowa Men’s basketball team will play a game in Sioux City this November.

A Tuesday city release announced the game will be played on November 10, at theTyson Events Center downtown.

The Hawkeyes will play Virginia Tech of the ACC.

Iowa made its 30th NCAA Tournament appearance during the 2025-26 season, advancing to the Elite Eight for the first time since 1987.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. at TysonCenter.com or by visiting the Primebank Box Office at the Tyson Events Center.
