Iowa Public Broadcasting Service is hosting two debates for candidates running for office.
On Tuesday, April 28, Republicans running for governor will answer questions and discuss their platforms.
Republican candidates at the debate are Brad Sherman, representative Eddie Andrews, and Adam Steen. Congressman Randy Feenstra and Zach Lahn are not listed to attend the debate. State auditor Rob Sand is the only Democratic candidate running for governor.
Former Northwest Congressman Steve King has endorsed Lahn.
Additionally, PBS will host the U.S. Senate Democratic primary debate on May 5th.
The two democratic candidates are representative Josh Turek and senator Zach Wahls. They are running against Republicans Jim Carlin and Congresswoman Ashley Hinson. Joni Ernst, current U.S. Senator, endorsed Hinson.
Both debates will broadcast from the Iowa PBS Studios in Johnston at 7pm on their respective dates. The debates will be livestreamed on iowapbs.org and YouTube.
