A poll commissioned by Nebraska gubernatorial candidate Lynne Walz shows that Governor Jim Pillen is in the lead by a small margin.
Lynne Walz, a Democrat, has served as state senator in the Nebraska legislature from 2017 to 2025.
The survey, conducted by Public Policy Polling, shows Pillen is at 38% with Walz following at 35%.
According to the poll, 32% of voters approve of Pillen’s work. However, it indicates that 53% of Republicans approve of Pillen, while 69% of Independent voters disapprove.
Findings revealed that 58% of voters responded no when asked if the state is headed in the right direction.
Public Policy Polling surveyed 670 registered Nebraska voters in early April and reported a margin of error of 3.8%.
