The Diocese of Sioux City announced Wednesday that Patty Lansink is resigning from her position as superintendent.
Patty Lansink has been the superintendent of the Catholic schools for the Diocese of Sioux City since 2018.
Lansink has accepted a regional vice president position with FACTS Education Services.
In a press release, Lansink said she is grateful for the years she spent serving the Catholic schools and for the friendships she made along the way.
Her resignation will go into effect on February 27th. The Diocese of Sioux City will launch a superintendent search in the coming weeks.
According to their website, the Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Sioux City is made up of 15 schools in Northwest Iowa and serves more than 6,200 students.
