Iowa’s four Republican members of the U.S. House have voted in favor of a bill that would require the Justice Department to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein, who is a convicted sex offender.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson and all three Nebraska congressmen also voted for the measure midday Tuesday.

Iowa Representatives Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Ashley Hinson, Zach Nunn and Randy Feenstra all backed the measure which passed with near-unanimous support.

None of Iowa’s House members signed the discharge petition earlier in the day that forced the vote.

Iowa Third District Representative Zach Nunn said Iowans deserve the truth and victims deserve justice.

President Trump for months said the Epstein files should not be released, before changing course on Sunday.

The Senate later Tuesday approved the measure by unanimous consent, so it will go to Trump's desk.
