Siouxland has a series of events taking place Tuesday commemorating Veterans Day.
Western Iowa Tech Community College is hosting multiple events during the week to honor veterans, including a panel discussion and a luncheon.
Earlier today, there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Siouxland Freedom Park. According to its Facebook page, the park is dedicated to the contributions of veterans from all services and all conflicts.
The White House website says the story of America is written with courage, honor, and dedicated service of veterans.
