In their meeting on Monday, the Sioux City School Board approved a memorandum of understanding between the Sioux City Education Association and the Sioux City Community School District.
The agreement would allow ‘High School Team Leader’ to be added to the list of supplemental positions eligible for stipends.
Barb Caskey, Human Resources Director for the Sioux City School District, stated that opening the contract would not apply to the current year's agreement. The MOU provides a way for the district to make this adjustment now.
The change would impact 8 individuals and has been a practice in previous years.
The terms of the MOU would expire June 30th, 2028.
