Republican presidential candidates are cramming in a final few Northwest Iowa campaign stops over the next four days, as they attempt to get more support in advance of the January 15 Iowa caucuses.
Former President Donald Trump leads in Iowa and national polls, and he will make two Siouxland campaign stops, with those being on Saturday, Jan. 13 in Sioux City, and Jan. 14 in Cherokee.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will hold Thursday afternoon events in Rock Rapids and Le Mars.
Nikki Haley will speak on Friday in Le Mars, to reach people in the region after she canceled a Sioux City event on Monday when 8 inches of snow fell. Vivek Ramiswamy made four events in Siouxland that same day.
Candidate Ryan Binkley will hold two events on Friday in Sergeant Bluff and Sioux City, and he will attend a caucus in Sioux City at Western Iowa Tech Community College on Monday.
Earlier this evening, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie announced he was ending his presidential campaign.
