League of Women Voters Candidate Forum-10/03/17

Coming up on The Exchange, we present a question and answer session with the media from last night’s League of Women Voter’s forum with the nine candidates for the Sioux City Council.  The candidates answered questions about a wide range of topics including housing, parking and drawing young people to Sioux City.

We’ll hear more of the League of Women Voters city candidate forum on the Exchange.

Welcome to the Exchange, on Siouxland Public Media. I’m Mary Harntett.  Last night I participated in a candidate forum organized by the League of Women Voters, in partnership with Sioxuland Public Media.  There are nine candidates running for three seats. The primary election is next Tuesday, October 10.  The top six vote getters will move on to the general election on November 7th.  I posed questions to the candidates in the council chambers last night along with KSCJ’s Woody Gottburg and the League’s co-president  Cindy O’Kane.   Here’s that candidate forum, with the candidates introducing themselves.
